Important dates related to Cost Audit for FY 2023-24 🔊

1. Completion of Cost Audit Report: Cost Audit Report should be completed and signed by the Cost Auditor and presented in the Board of Director meeting within 180 days from the end of the financial year. So, the last date for submission of the Cost Audit Report in the BOD meeting will be 27th Sep’24.

 

2. Last Date for Filing the Report: Company has to upload the Cost Audit Report in XBRL format in MCA portal within 30 days from the date of BOD meeting (for example, if BOD signed the report on 27th Sep’24 then last date for uploading the report will be 26th Oct’24).

 

3. UDIN Generation last date: Cost Auditor must generate UDIN within 30 days from the date of Cost Audit Report signing.

4. Appointment of Cost Auditor: Cost Auditor should be appointed before 27th Sep’24 for the next Financial Year 2024-25.

Kindly plan the Cost Audit accordingly, MCA-Cost Audit Branch became very strict now on the due date of the Cost Audit, they are sending notices frequently.
