purchasing of share transfer stamps

Dear Members,

if i want to buy share transfer stamps of  rs. 100000 or more from delhi post office, can i buy in cash or i have to make a dd.

if dd process is follow, then in whose name the same will be prepared

please advise asap

In post office share transfer stamps???? when it happened . in Delhi, share transfer stamps are available at Post office. ?????

In Maharashtra, they are not available in post office. for purchasing of share transfer stamps , we have to first make payment through GRASS website and then challan is generated an we have to show challan at treasury office and then they gave us date and on that date we collect the stamps. It is not easy to purchase these stamps over the counter of post office.

How much (Maximum value)  of the share transfer stamps, can we purchase from (GPO) Post office in cash ?
