Shift/Transfer of a Demat account from one bank to another bank

Dear Members,

I have a Demat a/c in ICICI Bank,

Now I want to shift this account to my OBC Bank a/c.

Is this possible?

Anybody having knowledge about what should i do in the above case?

Hello Nihar,

As per my opinion, you can open your account in OBC and if you have any share or any kind of security in your ICICI bank account then you can transfer that security in OBC account. After that, you will simply close your ICICI demat account..
