A private limited company has received an email from ESIC immediately upon incorporation, asking to login and update the status within 4 weeks to avoid defaulter action.
At present, the Company has no employees on its rolls.(neither is it likely to appoint any in near future).
Kindly confirm whether this updation on the ESIC / EPFO portals is still required in such a case.
Also, is there any formal way to opt out of ESIC / EPFO registration until employees are appointed
Would like to know what is normally followed in practice.
