The PF department is now asking organizations to establish the identity of employees by submitting details of what is called the Know Your Customer (KYC) document. Employees need to submit details of any one KYC document (PAN, Aadhaar, Bank Account details, etc.) to their employer. The employer in turn should upload the details in a text file format as specified by the PF department on the designated portal. We urge that you receive a copy of the KYC document in order to verify that the information submitted by the employee is correct.
Please collect the KYC information from all your employees at the earliest. You can scrutinize the KYC document copies and do the upload yourself.
