Respected all

Please help on the following problem. I am unable to register a DSC of mine. After putting my name, surname, father's name , surname am unable to select the certificate. I mean that particular browsing instruction is not working.

Is the problem related to my machine, or our company's server settings or java installation or some options in internet properties is unknowingly disabled

just to add I have enabled only and all the active x control option.

Ms. Aditi,

once you enabled ActiveX controls in your browser. now close the browser and again open MCA DSC register page and fill the details. this time it will take the certificate.

Thanks for the input, but i have done all this.. It still is not taking

i have seen this problem on net too.. there r others facing the issue, but dont know how to solve it

Sometimes it happens, 

1. check weather java is updated
2. once again you change the ActiveX control- this time select "prompt" in place of "enable", if you have only choice between enable or disable, select enable.

now close the internet explorer completely and again run the internet explorer and go for registering DSC.

just make all disable and try
 
i have no idea how it works . but i did it in same way by desabling all security option
tool>internet option>security>customs level. just go on ticking on "disable"
drag security level to minimum
after registering dsc again go in same way and click Restore default

Ms. Aditi,

If you are using Windows 7 then i guess there must be a driver problem for the E-token and if not that then Update the Java to the latest version.
I am attaching a file for configuring the activex controls may be helpful.

Even I was facing the same issue with ie8. I noticed that this issue was peculiar with ie8 while it was working perfectly in ie7 (on other machine). When I upgraded to Windows 7 I was shocked to know that we cannot install ie7 in Windows 7 platform. I even tried beta version of ie9 with no success. Aditi I suggest that you use Firefox Addon IE Tab 2 to resolve your issue. I am using it regularly.

it's not about windows7 or internet explorer 8.

even i am also using the same configuration in my system, i had no problem in registering ( initially missed to configure my internet explorer security settings to access my DSC) my DSC

it may some other technical issues with the java edition or with MCA website.

Even internet explorer 9 beta. i registered the many DSC's. no issues nothing.

Thanks for sharing your experience with tackling this issue in Windows 7. Just noticed that there are actually two versions of ie8 pre-installed in Windows 7. One is ie8 (64-bit) and ie8 (32-bit) or normal one. Earlier I unsuccessfully tried "Internet Explorer 8 (64-bit)" to log-on to MCA portal using business user id and today happened to log-on using ie8 normal version. And faced no issues at all and the Digital Signature Selection Pop-up appears now.

Hi,

I'm unable to select dsc in the MCA site while trying to register the dsc. Have tried registering with various combinations of Java, done activex control settings, & made all changes as shown in FAQs on MCA site. I'm using Windows 7 and have tried in ie, firefox and chrome also.

kindly share your inputs as to what can be done to resolve the matter. Ticket is also raised and pending with MCA helpdesk

try the following

1. Uninstall all the JAVA in ur system.

2. There after download and install JAVA 6 update 30. then try to ROLL CHECK. Pls donot update java even if it shows update is available.

TRY ENABLING JAVA IN MOZILLA BROWSER AND THEN PROCEED

step:1  Copy web link after fill the all details.
Step 2 : go in control panel and search jave
step 3:  click on jave > Security > edit site list > past web link > ok  
step 4 :  restart your computer and fill again details and select DSC:

use only internet explore

I have drafted the procedure of settings for digital signatures step wise, Try these settings and then restart the system and then try in internet explorer. If works please let me know too.
