Filing Form CRA-2

Good Afternoon,

Has any one filed Form CRA-2 for appointment of Cost Auditor.

I am unable to fill or prefill the following Fields:

5. * Details of product(s)/service(s) covered under different categories for which auditor(s) is/are appointed

6 (e) * Select the product/service which would be audited by the cost auditor/firm/LLP (multiple selection is allowed) - I am not getting anything in the drop-down button

My query is that this problem in form or some where am i going wrong. Please advise as 31.03.2015 is the last day for filing the form.

Dear Siva,

There comes the option of drop down menu.

You have to fill the point 4 (ii) that under which category your company falls.

after that move to point 5 and drop down menu will appear for sure.

I am unable to fill even the point 4 (ii) that under which category the company falls though I selected the check box in 4(i)

Dear Siva,

Please choose either of the option buttons in 4(1).

Post that choose the check boxes in  4(2), in the column of 4(2) choose the Number of products/ services

covered under the category

for which auditor is appointed

irrespective of the fact it is eligible of cost audit or not

Then For ex you chose

 Multiple products/services

Engaged in an industry regulated by a sectoral Regulator or any Ministry/

Department of CG and No of products-1 then in 5(b) you will get options pertaining to such made choice(refer the resp rule)

you can make multiple choices in 5(b) which will automatically reflect in 6(e).

if it still does not work try downloading a fresh version of the form from Internet explorer.

Dear Siva,

Kindly forward your form and tell me under which category ur company falls amongst four categories mentioned in point 4 (ii) of CRA 2 and also the sub category whether it is steel, ores, cement, coffee & tea.

Further, attached herewith amendment in cost audit rules for your reference.
