Compliance Certificate

Please guide me in the following query

A company had paid up capital of more than 5 crores as on 31st March, 2013.

CS was appointed in May, 2013.

My query is will the Compliance Certificate be required for the f.y. ending 31.03.2013.

thanks neha, i am a bit confused about it

as CC i applicable for companies with paid up capital from Rs. 10.00 lakhs to 5.00 crores.

and after the capital increased the company had appointed CS though in May, but within the time limit of 1 year.

so will the company be required to file compliance certificate?

i am not able to understand

Yes..It is required and also you have to look on which date the capital increase to 5crore.

Please note that The Paid up Capital crossed Rs. 5.00 crores on 01.09.2012.
