MGT 7 - List of Shareholders Attachment - Issue

Dear All 

We have to now attach an excel sheet for the list of shareholders along with the MGT 7. It is in excel file . The file only consists of share holders name( no address is needed to be provided) , no of shares held , DP number if any (not applicable to private limited company) , folio number , Class of shares.

My concern is that excel file does not have any column where we can provide the name of the company for which it relates.

As Excel file cannot be attached with the MGT 7 pdf form , we have to upload it seperately through MCA portal.

My concern is that how MCA comes to know that it is for a particular company when no space is not given in excel sheet for incorporating the company's name .

Can anyone help to explain who has already filed the MGT 7 and got it approved?

Dear Sir,

There is link on MCA portal path of service as MCA Service - e-filling - upload details of security holders/depositories/debenture holder. In that link you can upload your excel sheet of shareholders. In this service we have facility to quote Company name and SRN of MGT 7

Dear Sir,

I think the Excel sheet would be used when the number of shareholders are very large that cannot be attached with MGT-7 in PDF file. If the PDF file is possible , you can attach the same.
