UNSECURED Debentures

Hi Everyone, can a company issue unsecured Non-Convertible Debentures?

Only listed unsecured ncd can be issued otherwise it will fall under the ambit of deposit and you will have to comply with deposit rules.

Kindly correct me if i'm wrong!

Hi All,

In case, if the unsecured NCDs are issued only to a Company and not to any other entity. 

Would such issuance still be considered as deposit or would it not be considered as deposit in terms of Rule 2(1)(c)(vi) of The Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 2014.
