Dear Komal ji,

FC-2 on MCA portal is used for 5 specific purposes for Foreign companies that is entirely different from FCRA FC-2.

For better clarity please download the kit of fc-2 from MCA and go through it.

The FC-2 form is used for filing the return of alteration in the documents filed for registration by a foreign company. It is available on the MCA portal in the V3 filing system and also on the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) website. The form requires details such as the Foreign Company Registration Number (FCRN), dates of board and general meetings authorizing alterations, and other relevant information. Submission involves affixing a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), paying fees, and generating an acknowledgment upon submission.
