Dear Friends,

FACT:
  • LLP with a Capital of Rs 10 lacs,  Stamp Duty paid rs 10000/-
  • Registered office is in Delhi
  • The LLP want to increase capital / contribution to Rs 50 Lacs:
My Query:
  • What is the stamp duty payable on the Supplementary  Deed?

Dear Sudipto,

The stamp duty payable on partnership deed in the state of execution of agreement, shall be payable on the LLP Agreement.

As Delhi Stamp act is silent about stamp duty on LLP. So the  agreement can be executed  on Rs. 100.
