The below being an information found with regard to ICSA MOU with ICSI, thought to enlighten to the unware...

 

ICSA have a special exemption for ICSI Members of two years or more. I have outlined it below but this is for Members of ICSI. ICSI - ICSA MOU Scheme

 

 1).        you must have been a member of ICSI (Associate or Fellow), in good standing for a minimum of two years.

 

 2).        you are required to complete the following three non exempted ICSA examinations:

                        -           Corporate Governance

                        -           Corporate Secretarial Practice

                        -           Chartered Secretary Case Study

 3).        Membership must be certified by the ICSI Endorsing Officer, Mr PC Grover.  This must be done on the relevant section of the attached application form, prior to registration with ICSA.

 

Registration Procedures:

 

To register as a student you must contact the ICSI to obtain the required certification.  ICSI will then forward complete application forms to ICSA.  Please note that MOU students are not required to register for at least one module when applying to the ICSA, it is the students duty to ensure that the correct exam entry form and fee are submitted to the ICSA without these your application will not be processed.

 

Fees:

             Prices are valid until 31st July 2013.

 

The registration                                                                                     £53.00

One Year Annual subscription                                                                £115.00

Exemption fee, per module                                                                    £135.00 X 5 

 

To initially register with the Institute you will be required to submit a payment of   £843.00

 

If you wish to register for either Corporate Governance or Corporate Secretarial Practice you will be required to pay an additional £135.00 per module.

 

On the successful completion of the two aforementioned modules you can sit the Case Study which is currently £205.00.
