Job Description
• Structuring, drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of matters from complex, multi-jurisdictional outsourcing transactions and global technology-related contracts high-dollar
• Providing legal advice, including general commercial legal advice, and rendering legal support to the management and to all business units and corporate departments.
• Competence in a broad range of corporate and business laws, especially in the areas of commercial transactions and statutory compliances and other laws
• Knowledge of Services Contract in software industry
• Ability to negotiate contracts;
• Should know the key elements of a software services contract
• ability to get the best for Sasken by being able effectively negotiate and be able to get best position in contract
Ideal Candidate Should –
• LLB or equivalent degree with excellent academic credentials
• Minimum 10+ years of exposure as an in-house lawyer in any industry or as a lawyer in one of the top law firms
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issues and projects with diverse levels of management and employees.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matters from the complex matters to the routine standard matters.
• Proficient in legal drafting with attention to detail. Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• With strong communication, interpersonal and partner management skills.
• A self-starter with excellent business discernment, legal acumen and ability to work both cross-functionally and independently.
