Warrant means a documnt "endowed with a right",

Share warrant is like a self /bearer cheque without the name of the payee and dated with a future date

it can be transfered by delivery from one person to another.
It can be converted in to shares by depositing with the company
the bearer presenting the warrant gets the share specified there in
Usually warrants are issued with condition to convert in to shares after expiry of adefinite lock in period
bearer of share warrant is not a share holder
untill the warrant is cancelled and its name is entered in the register of members

usually share warrants are issued to raise capital which are convertible in  to shares after a fixed period of time
