Physical Application for surrender of Multiple DIN

Dear Experts,

Whether any Member has submitted the physical application for the surrender of DIN to RD Office ?

Simultaneously, whether any Member has applied for compounding of the same ?

I think DIR-5 to be attached with RD-1 and filed for surrender of DIN.an application plus affidavit on Rs 10 stamp paper is required also.Compounding of offence as per sec 621A of CA 1956 but if 441 of Comp Act 2013 comes into force ,offence become non compoundable and penalty will be imposed.If the Director has used the second DIN for another company malafide then he will be charged for fraud and will have to face prosecution and have to appear in court. Approach very cautiously and get more info out from the Director concerned.

one of my clients has also received notice from MCA for duplicate din. Is it compulsory to go for compounding in such a case or only surrender of din will suffice?
