Kindly visit the https://www.ccilindia-lei.co.in/ and Cliekc on download tab and under download tab select Legal doc download. and then select new / renewal and then select your type of entity to download check list of documents to be submitted for enrolling your entity. i have appended list of documents required as on today date for enrolling private ltd with LEIL.

Further you can connect them for any queries you are might face at the time of new registration or modifcation at there contact no and email id share in there abovesaid wedbsite.

 Without going into much technicality in various European countries Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) issue LEI NO.

There are a number of LEI issuers around the world that issue and maintain the identifiers and act as primary interfaces to the global directory, these are typically financial exchanges or financial data vendors. These are accredited by the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) to issue LEIs.

A Legal Entity Identifier or LEI Number is a 20-digit unique code defined by the ISO 17442 standard. An LEI number can be issued to companies and individuals who want to conduct financial transaction and trades.

In India, Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) have accredited  Legal Entity Identifier India Limited (CIN- U74900MH2015PLC268921) – A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of The Clearing Corporation of India Ltd. acts as a Local Operating Unit (LOU) for issuing globally compatible Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) in India.

Further LEIL registration is mandatory since the financial institution are asking LEI registration  no when exposure size of Rs.5Cr and above.

Further RBI circular and Policies have been appended for making mandatory to obtain LEI no in phase wise manner and FAQ for perusal.
