TDS APLICABILITY ON PAYMENT TO TRAVEL AGENT U/s 194C

I want clarification regarding tds applicability  on payment made to an travel agent company  for arranging us various flight ticket and hotel bookings total amount of payment is more than 10 Lac.

and if tds apply on this payment section 194C of tds will be applicable or any other section.

TDS U/s. 194C on payment to travel agent is not applicable. Please refer Circular No. 715 dt. 08.08.1995 and No. 713 dt. 02.08.1995.

However if you are paying any commission to such agent out of your pocket, then TDS U/s. 194H will be applicable.
