Hi Friends

We submitted a company name (LandLine Solutions Private Limited) through Form 1A which got approved yesterday. Now the client wants to change the name to "Land Line Solutions Private Limited" (added a space between Land and Line). How do we go about changing the name now because the proposed new name is very similar to the name that just got approved?

Thanks

Hameed

You can apply to ROC to reject the earlier approved form. Then u will be able to file Fresh Form 1A.

Thanks a lot Taruna for your super-prompt response.

How should I ask the RoC to reject the earlier approved form? Should I send an email to them or call them?

Also, does it mean a fresh payment of Rs.1000 should be done?

In my opinion you will have to spend another Rs. 1,000.

Raise a ticket under the tab " User Complaints & Grieavance " to request for the rejection. If it doesn't work, personally visit the ROC office.

You need to visit Roc and Clarify them all such things and apply another form 1A for Name Availability.

File fresh eForm 1A for availability of new name (i.e. Land Line Solutions Pvt Ltd), attach earlier name approval letter and a covering letter addressing ROC that you will not use the earlier approved name (i.e. LandLine Solutions Pvt Ltd.).

the best way is to incorporate the company with the given name and then change it
i dont think there is no other way out.

if you have time, you can wait until the name availability expires

yogan

Dear professional colleagues,

It is not advisable, to incorporate a Company with an un-suggested name and then change of name as it does not sounds good. It becomes a dual work.

Solutions are;

1)    Another name application for the desired name with the PCS certification can be made for instance approval; and/or

2)    Liaise with the Registrar of Companies on the availability etc.,

Consider the above as only mere opinion of the undersigned, practicable complications might peep in.
