Dear Members, 

As the information submitted by Financial Creditor is required to be authenticated by Debtor through NeSL portal. 

However, if the same is not authenticated, what will be the consequences?

Note : 

NeSL is the First Information Utlity (IU) established under IBC, 2016 for maintenance of Financial Info.

NeSL registration already done 6 months ago. 

However, information authentication time period has expired since it pertains to quarter ended June'19.

I just want to know whether there will be any penal consequences ?

Dear All,

You need to authenticate within stipulated time, or else incase no revert is there from the Company's end that will held the company liable as a defaulter and further the IBC provisions would attract.

There is no fees,NESL will insist and direct for register under NESL and upon reg. User shall authenticate the O/s' as referred by Banks/ FInancial institutions.
