Serial no for Board Meeting

Dear Professional Friends,

As you all are aware that as per SS-1 we need to put Serial No for Board Meeting. I am concerned that how to put the Serial number if the system was not there previously Can it be like 1st Meeting of FY_2015-16 ?

Pls Suggest.

yes. It would be afresh serially numbered after 01.06.2015 .

There are various options:

You may start numbering the meetings consecutively from the beginning i.e. from the first meeting after incorporation. For example 1,2,3,.......71.72,73 and so on.

You may number them on calendar year basis. For example 1/2015, 2/2015 and so on.

You may number them on financial year basis. For example 1/2015-16, 2/2015-16 and so on.

You may start numbering the meetings after 1st July 2015 onwards.

First meeting held in may second after july what will be the number of july meeting if may meeting was not numbered.we have numbered ist bm in may as 01/2015 so that second meeting after july be numbered 02/2015.

if yes then how as till now we only mention the date of signing.

Minutes of BM should be serial numbered, starting from 1st BM meeting, number as 1 and so on it continues.

Pratima, just put an index in the minutes book which contains the date of entry and date of signing of every minutes, board meeting wise and a counter signature column for signatures of CS or any director for authentication.
