change of e-mail ID in Master Data

Dear Friends,

I heard we need to file INC-22 even to change the e-mail ID in the master data. If we put the new e-mail ID in any of the forms being filed, it will not update the master data.

Kindly share your experience. If INC-22 has to be filed with the same address (only for change of e-mail ID) what are the documents to be attached to the Form.

It is getting updated by filing forms like AOC-4, MGT - 7, DIR -12, INC -22, MGT - 14, SH-7, ETC.

No need to file any e-form, just raise a ticket under User Complaints & Grievances tab.

Let me raise a ticket requesting them to change e-mail ID. Will they ask for any letter from the Company?

Dear vivek,

I feel that instead of you sending letter and then having follow up with ROC which consume lot of your time.

instead when ever you file a form you can update the email id and the same will capture accordingly.

recently we did the same when filed DIR12.

same was updated.

I know earlier even I used to do it. But recently I understand except INC-22 no other forms are updating the e-mail ID in the master data.

Please note I had raised a complaint and get the following reply:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Kindly note that there is no separate procedure to update the email id of a company,  

Email id gets updated for a company whenever forms :DIR-12, PAS-3, CHG-1,INC-22 or 

annual filing forms get approved in the system. The user may enter the new email id 

while filing any of the above mentioned forms. In case of any further concerns please 

log a fresh ticket.
