financial parameters profit and loss account  

whether dividend paid to related parties required to be included in gross value of transactions with related parties or not

I wonder If 'Dividend' paid to related parties qualify  as a related party transaction.

Sir,

It is not under sec 188. It is under AS 18. when we prepare schedule  as per AS 18 we have to show it . So far as  financial parameters in AOC 4 ,we will not include it because it forms part of appropriation after P&l a/c .

Hello Ms. Deepalli,

The illustration in AS18 does not list dividend (although the list is only illustrative in nature). Having said that, Dividend does not qualify as related party transaction. In my opinion, remuneration to directors for services rendered come under AOC4 categorisation.

Pls review the AS18. Kindly let me know if I am missing something.
