Attached herewith UDIN Guidelines.

As per point no.5 of the attached guidelines do we need to generate UDIN for Search Reports issued to Banks (not diligence report, mere Search Reports)

Nice point Rajesh ji, prima facie, I had the same thought, but it clearly states that any report given under any law, and we issue search report to bank on their request not under any law.

So as per my understanding we are mot supposed to put UDIn on Search Report issued to Banks.

Your views are also solocited.

Well , till date no bank has asked me to put UDIN, you meed to explain  and convince them.

A thing which is not required, why we should generate and put on papers?

Is UDIN required to be generated for other Eforms also like MGT 14, DIR 12 etc also as per the new clause

I agree with Siddarthji.  Even I am of the opinion that we need not generate UDIN for Search Reports issued to Banks.

Further Geethaji I don't think that Form DIR-12 or Form MGT-14 would come within the meaning of Reports or Certificates or Returns.  I feel that it is just a Form and hence UDIN need not be generated.

No.. there is a difference between certificate and certification.

All certificates are mandatory to contain UDIN but all certification does not.

Actually point no.5 of the attached guidelines seems like it covers everything under every Law.  If that is the case what was the need for point no.1,2,3 and 4 of the present guidelines and other points in the previous guidelines already issued.  I think the Institute should come out with a clarification.  Point No.5 is very wide and vague

I told you guys already that for certificate UDIN is required not for certification and ICSI has issued a clarification on the same.

E-forms are not covered under certificate its a certification.
