Check your PF Balance online

Dear All

I would like to share information with you all.Most of you may be aware of this information,for those who are not aware,it will be very useful.

Now we can check our PF balance online

1.Open www.epfindia.com

2.Click on  "Know your EPF balance"

3.Give State ,Name &City,PF No and Get balance.

Its not happening, as in the column employee PF account number there are three spaces and how to write the account no. there......please guide as my account number is UP/40027/99

Dear Bidu

 

Kindly do the following

 

• Select the EPFO office where your account is maintained and furnish your PF Account number.
  
• Leave the extension field blank, in case your account does not have one.

I have got my details and I have tried it,only after that I shared the same with group.Make sure your name is same as it appears in PF account and details will be sent to your mobile

Dear All

 

Additional Information ...Accounts are updated in their database only up to 31.03.2009 since they have started this service from 01.07.2011.So others whose PF account are opened after 31.03.2009 may not be able to retrieve the details.

there are total 5 blocks and the 1st 2 block are already filled i.e. WB CAL thereafter 3 blocks r still remaining.. so exactly what needs to be done...???? pls explain..

Hello

 

For eg: If your PF number: MH/PUN/31254/040

 

First two colums will be already filled

 

Third Column: Enter your PF number (say 31254)-You can enter maximum 7 digits

 

Fourth Column: Leave it blank or enter zero if you do not have any extension number

 

Fifth Column.Enter the remaining number say 040

 

Enter your name as it appears in PF account

 

Provide your mobile number ,SMS will be sent to your mobile.

 

Note:Datas are updated in the website only up to 31.03.2009 as this services has commenced from 01.07.2011

yeah i got... thanx a ton... but the sms gives two amount - EE amount and ER amount...  i din get one consolidated amount...

Dear Neha

 

EE means Employee Contribution and ER means Employer Contributuion amount.Add both EE +ER,you will get the total amount of your PF.

Hi All,

One small doubt.....

Has Union Territories been covered in the facility. The reason being my Corporate Office is at Pondicherry and when I selected the same in the list no list is enabled that's why.

Anyhow that's a useful link which needs to be saved in everybody's favorites.
