Two Nominee Shareholder for Wholly Owned Subsidiary - is it possibble ?

Dear Friends
We are going to incorporate Wholly owned subsidiary private Limited Company and management asked to keep Two Nominee shareholders each holding 1 share in addition to one Private Limited Company as shareholder.
Whereas the concept of having a nominee shareholder is to fulfill requirements of Section 2 [68] [i.e. Minimum 2 shareholder]
Can we do that ?

In my view:
certainly, can be done
Sec. 2 (68) talks of min. 2 shareholders BUT more than 2 can be made anytime

Though Companies Act does not prohibit it. Technically Spice PART B does not allow the same person to be as nominee [holding 1 share] and authorised signatory on behalf of the Company. It gives errors.
