Hi,

I got to know from one of my acquaitances that who has experience working with a listed public company can claim exemption from undergoing ROC/Stock Exchange training for 15 days.  I am not sure about the information.

Please guide me if you know anything about this.

Thanks,

Reshma

I have also applied for exemption for the 15 days ROC training. But they confirmed that they will not consider the experience during the training period for giving exemption for the same. You have to go for 15 days ROC training.

Dear Ms. Reshma,

If you work for 6 months in any company either listed or unlisted as an Executive or Assistant Manager in the field of Secretarial, then you can apply to the institute for getting exemption of 15 days ROC training.

You have to submit a Experience Certificate (majorly in liasioning with ROC and other authorities) for that period.

I got the Exemption of 15 days ROC training.

Dear Ms. Reshma,

At the time when I was applying for ROC training, I was told that it is completely at the discretion of the Institute to grant exemption from ROC training.  The request letter to grant exemption has to spell out in detail the exposure that one has gained during the training period or employment.  However it is suggested that you undergo the training.  The time taken to grant exemption is longer than the time taken to grant permission to commence ROC / stock exchange training.

J. Nithya

Dear Mr.Arora,

Thanks for your guidance.

I have been working as Executive - Secretarial & MIS with a public listed company for 11 months now, apart from MTP for 15 months in the same company.
Can you please further guide me as to how I should go about this.   What should be the content of the certificate, whom to address it? how long I should wait for this?etc.,.
Regards,
Reshma

Dear Suhasini,

I reside in Mysore.  Undergoing training in stock exchange at Bangalore would be adding to my knowledge.  But, my problem is getting leave sanctioned from my co-ordinator who has helped me in granting me as many leaves as I wanted for exam  preparation and now I have requested for another 15 days to attend SMTP.  Once again 15 days for ROC training will be a problem.  Hence, i am applying for the exemption.

Thanks,
Reshma
