Hi
Now those provisions are not effective. You can register the
company using"INDIA" anywhere with or without bracket with
1,00,000/5,00,000 capital.

Correct me if i am wrong.

Pls refer name availability guidelines issued by mca in july 2011....there are revised minimum authorized capital slabs mentioned for words like india, asia, south asia etc etc.. Slabs have been increased substantially since old guidelines were issued...

Dear All,

You are requested to go through the Name Availability Guidelines. Well as per the circular in the beginning the usage of the word India will lead to the Authorised Capital of Rs. 2 crores. Otherwise, the usage of the word "India" in the middle whether with or without bracket will lead to the Authorised Capital of Rs. 25 lakhs.

Further, this guideline is in operation since 24th July, 2011.

Opinions & views of others are highly solicited in this regard.

Thanks kirti ji for confirming my memory... I remember taking a conscious call to drop the word India due to huge AC requirement and related RoC fees. Thanks again...

Dear All,

I do not agree with your views. There is no authorized capital restriction in new Name Availability guidelines. I do not know the intention behind removing such a restriction from Naming Guidelines.

Now, ROC is allowing INDIA, VENTUTE, ENTERPRISE, GLOBAL etc even with 100000 paid up capital.

Vivek
