FORM-32 CS MEMBERSHIP NUMBER FORMAT

Dear All,

 

 

I am filing form-32 for our company Company Secretary. in the form-32 there is a block for entering membership number, in that i'm trying to enter the membership number...like 2837 but the form says membership number is not in valid format..

 

 

Plz help me...what is the valid membership no. format for filing..

Please add the letter 'A' before the number i.e fill  A2837 .

is that word  'A' is standard for all the members..even if  he/she is a associate member or fellow memebr..?

Please prefix by letter 'A' for Associate or 'F' for Fellow member of the Institute.

Hi ,

 

the word Fellow member is applicable to company secretaries in practice.

company secretary in whole time employment can not use word "fellow "before there name what ever may be his/her seniority.

Check once whether you have filled the option whether the CS is FCS/ACS

And secondly add zero before the number and try.

Do not copy paste in the column, because it will not accept.

No you cant use '0'...words 'A' and 'F' works but i am still  confused abt which word should i use because  our c CS is a FCS, bcz Ms.Rashmi Says use the word 'F' and Ms. Priti says use the word 'A'...

Dear Sunil,

Please refer the Instruction Kit (Form 32 - Help). The instruction for filling the column is replicated below:

"Select whether the secretary is a member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India
(ICSI). If yes, select whether he/ she is an associate or fellow and enter the membership
number. The details (name, associate or fellow and membership number) will be validated from the ICSI records. Ensure that the details being entered are updated as per ICSI records.

Please refer the ICSI records - Members' Directory on the Institute Website (www.icsi.edu). Fill in the membership no. and check the database. In your case, I think it will be 'F'
