Sir,

The same issues is being faced by all newly incorporated companies. When I raised a ticket in MCA, I received the following mail from them:

COI has been issued by MCA. eCopy of PAN/TAN and Acknowledgement Number will be sent by NSDL. In case of any issue please contact NSDL.

Physical copy of PAN/TAN Card has been discontinued from 01-Jan-2019 onwards by NSDL.

We have to contact NSDL and find solution for this issue.

BUT THE SAME PAN NOT ACTIVE ON SIDE OF INCOME TAX 

IF COMPANY WANT TO GET GST OR OTHER PAN BASED REGISTRATION THEY CAN NOT APPLY

If it is the case, then I don't know what is the use in applying for pan and tan along with incorporation?

One of my company has same issue...softcopy mailed by nsdl but hard copy not received till date .So in that case Will I  have to apply for hard copy ?

You might have received acknowledgement number with the online PAN that can be used for checking PAN dispatch status at NSDL Site.

Now NSDL has stopped issuing hard copy of PAN Card for newly incorporated companies

HI REENA MAM,

FYIP :

Stakeholders may note that Finance Act, 2018 amended section

139A of the Income-tax Act, 1961 and removed the requirement of issuing PAN in the form of a

laminated card. Hence, it is clarified that PAN and TAN mentioned in the COI issued by MCA

shall also be treated as sufficient proof of PAN and TAN for the said company assesses.
