Changes in CIN - State Reorganisation

Dear all,

I firstly wish the people belonging to Telangana State on the event of its emergence as 29th State of Indian Republic.

It is noted that the Corporate Identity Number (CIN) of Companies incorporated in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh are undergoing change. The letters "AP" as 7 and 8 characters of CIN are being replaced with letters "TG".

This is prominent in view of Section 12 (3) (c) of CA 2013 requiring CIN to be mentioned on certain documents of the Company.

The MCA website is displaying changes in few companies only. The Companies are required keep a close watch of this change and take a call whether to mention TG or AP which MCA has not displayed changes.

Also, few forms in MCA underwent changes as per the state reorganisation.
