See there can be other situations as well, like when you incorporate a new company you will get an ESI No. here all provisions will only applicable when the nos. of employees cross 10.

It's a factory and only has one worker. Less than 10 employees still we got notice that contribution payment is not done.

Registration application was not done as there was only one employee.

There is no need to comply as a limit is not reached. as at the time of incorporation, ESIC gets generated. however, if you didn't apply within 6 months or something then that will get cancel,in my opinion.

See.. such sort of Notice is issued by ESIC nowadays. Even the Company or factory has not Crossed the Limit. no need to worry If limit is not Crossed then please reply to notice.
