Dear Friends

The Registered Office of our Company is situated in Hyderabad which was earlier in AP and now in TG. But MCA has not changed the CIN and State details in its system and the Master Data is still showing the state as "AP" and CIN as "AP" (not TG). Also our MOA has State of AP in it.

Now, I am going to alter the object clause in the MOA. My query is -

1) Since the State has already been changed from AP to TG, Should I alter the Registered Office Clause in the MOA from AP to TG? OR should I leave AP to be there in the MOA?

2) If I alter the Registered Office Clause in the MOA from AP to TG, Do I need to follow any procedure like passing of resolution, noting in the minutes, procedure for alternation of Registered Office clause in the MOA?

3) I remember MCA has issued one circular long back when new states in North India (Uttarakhand, Chhatisgarh) was formed. Does anybody has the same circular? Can you please share..

Hi as per Andhra Pradesh reorganisation  the state capital has to be shared for ten years, and the central institutions which are not partitioned among both the states has to operate and follow status-quo. So until there is separate roc for ap and Telangana there is only one roc concerned, i.e ap.

Dear Bharadwaj

Does it mean, we should keep mentioning the State of our Regd Office as AP and not TG?
