i have read i need to go for central registration as protein supplement comes under novel food.

i want to know how long it takes to approve or they do any physical verification also.

It is generally approved within 20 to 30 days however, in case any documents is missing then 45 days.

Moreover all attachments/documents required are available on the website.

You might need to visit the Regional office for getting it approved if required.
