ATTESTATION IN SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS IN DIR 3

Dear Members,

 I have one confusion in regard of DIR 3 attachment of id and address proof of application, its written in help kit of DIR 3 that if DIR 3 is attested by practising professional, then the supporting documents attached shall be self-attested by the applicant. 

So i want to confirm that notary or any other respective government authority certification is not required to be taken, as its mentioned in affidavit of DIR 3 that the documents has been attested by respective government authority.

 Please share your views...............
