 ENHANCEMENT OF FEES  

The Council at its 197^th Meeting held on December 15, 2010 felt that honorarium be paid to the Guides for dissertation and project report under PMQ Course in Corporate Governance. With a view to meet the expense on honorarium to be paid to the Guide and to meet the increased costs, the Council has decided to enhance the fee for PMQ Course in Corporate Governance with effect from January 1, 2011.to Rs.25,000/- for the entire course payable as under :         

Rs.12500/-  payable at the time of registration for the course.  

Rs.12,500/- payable after completion of Part I and before   commencement of Part II

Though we have Corporate Governance as our mission, ICSI have miserable failed in getting exclusivity for issue of CG certification under clause 49.

More than 90% of the companies are getting the certificate from CAs.  They why should we have a course like this ?  Just to make us paper tigers.

Where as IPR has recognized CS and PCS can be a Trade mark Agent without any test / exams.  This field has good scope for all PCS because of the growing tendency of recognizing IPR and great valuations it s having now a days.

But ICSI has not even taken a single step o motivate / educate to CS  on this opportunity. A PMQ or refresher or certificate course on this will help lot of CS  to emerge much stronger in knowledge and practice.

Let the members be enriched with practical knowledge and bookish knowledge without adequate opportunities to excel.

Let us be practical.
