AGM Due date

Dear all,

What will be the due date to hold the first AGM if company was incorporated in the year 2019.

Hi,

Assuming the company incorporated after 01/04/2019, 

Due date for holding shall be 9 months from the end of the Financial year. So It will be 31st Dec 2020. 

However MCA has extended the due date for holding AGM for all the companies upto 31st Dec 2020 for FY 2019.20

Jayaram,

This extension doesn't apply for companies holding 1st AGM.

Irrespective of the circular, due date shall be 9 months from the 1st FY, ie 31/12/20. 

Refer Sec 96 for details.
