Impact if nic code

Your AD Bank will inform you that you have enetered a wrong NIC code , further on suo moto, (if ad bank had submitted the docs to rbi) write a letter to rbi and inform the correct nic code, rbi will not take action ,on it

nothing will happen if you write wrong NIC code.

RBI will review it and will send you the letter to AD Bank and your company 

asking to resubmit the revised FCGPR.

this is very common. in NIC list there activities for which we dont have codes.

so we put something near to the activity listed in NIC list.

i have already done this mistake sometime back

if we mentioned wrong NIC code in fcgpr form,  will RBI take any action or how to change the same.

 

pls provide link or list of NIC code 1987 as RBI want for filling of form FCGPR.

rbi will not take any action (trust me as i had faced it myself.)

nic codes are with different years. sometimes you may not find the correct nic code. so you may use the multiple years nic codes and also different codes.

the AD job is to prescrutnise it before going to submit to RBI.\

still there is mistake then RBi will send the letter asking for revised returns

nothing to worry. RBI is friendly in such small mistakes
