Hi,
It has been observed that the MCA has introduced a new field titled “Category” under the signatory details in the Master Data, indicating the type of directorship such as Independent, Promoter, Professional, etc. However, several directors appear to have been incorrectly classified under different categories due to earlier filing errors.
Kindly clarify whether such category details can be corrected by filing the relevant forms, or if a specific request needs to be raised with the MCA for rectification.
