SHAREHOLDER LIST MGT-7

Suggestions required!

Is the shareholder list given with form MGT-7 is only for providing format as no excel doc. can be attached with the form. Also whats' the use of validate option given in shareholder list.

you can convert excel or word file into pdf  and then attach it in attachment. But the shareholders list must be signed by two directors. 

Then,you don't need to opt for validation process.

That is not the situation

You can  upload the  excel file using the other   utility - upload  shareholders/debentureholders details  which is given under  annual filing on  home page

Actually  it can be used where the number of shareholders is large and does not require signature of directors.

Agreed as in MGT 7 one option is there whether list of shareholder is attached or not and if you click on no than you are required to upload the excel file on mca website.
