Do VAT applies on sale of used/waste Crude Oil ?

Dear All,

We are using Crude Oil for generator operation and paid VAT. The same used oil now we are selling..My question is whether VAT is applicable on used/waste Crude oil.

Please help !!!

Dear Mr. Jaynath,

 

Normally used Oils will be further sold as "Scrap" which will attract VAT at 5% w.e.f., 1st April 2010.
