Dear Mr. Kushal,

As per the sub section (2) of section 96 of Companies Act 2013, AGM shall be called during the business hour on any date but not on National Holiday and shall be at the registered office of the company or a some other place within the which the registered office of the company is situated.

So yes AGM can be called on Sundays.

Yes. It can be held on a sunday or a public holiday but not on a national holiday.

But as per revised Section 96 (notified on 14.06.18) AGM can be held anywhere in India.

The time perioud from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. is called bussiness hour.

there is no relevant it with day either sunday or Public Holiday or National Holiday.

However, Sunday is not count in working day in INDIA because its consider as public Holiday.
