Aadhar address for DIR3KYC_mandatory?

Hi,

Please share your views on the below:

1) Is it necessary that permanent address proof in form DIR3 KYC should be as per Aadhar card?

2) If address in Aadhar card is different than that in MCA records, we need to file DIR6 first and then dir3 kyc?

I just spoke to Corporate Seva Kendra. They say either utility bill or bank statement required for address proof. Aadhar and passport cannot be taken for address proof they say.

I have filed one dir-3 kyc form and after filing of it address has been changed as per new address mention in form. so  hence we don't require to file DIR-6.

Thanks for your replies. If address is getting changed by filing kyc form, then I think no need to file dir6

What to do for the address proof then? Should we go ahead with Aadhar or insist for the utility bill/bank statement? Please share your views

Whether documents attached to FORM DIR-3 KYC need to be attested by Professional or Self attested by applicant is sufficient ?

Dear Dipti,

Kindly check the MCA records first. If the present address of the applicant is different from the one appearing in MCA master data, then you will have to update the same by filing DIR-6 first & then file DIR-3 KYC.

If the address in passport & aadhaar is different from the present address, then you can attach utility bills as an additional attachment.

In the DIR-3 KYC Help kit, Aadhaar and Passport are conditional attachment and not as a address proof and for address proof either Bank Statement or Utility bills such as Electricity Bill, Mobile/Telephone Bill etc.

As it is a STP form whatever one will attach MCA will take it on record. So it is better if we will be more cautious.

Yes it is no where mentioned but it is also no where mentioned that we can attach aadhaar, passport as address proof

so what prevents a person from attaching a passport copy or aadhar copy as address proof. Considering that it is not specifically disallowed.
