How to check PAN furnished or not for filing DIN - 4 Form

As all of us  are aware about the  MCA has made it compulsory vide General Circular No.11/2011, New Delhi Dated 07.04.2011 to inform PAN of every Director/Person holding Director Identification Number (DIN) up to 31st May, 2011 if not informed/furnished earlier at the time of applying DIN by such Director .  The circular also made it mandatory for all new DIN Applicants to mention their PAN No. in DIN-1 eformThen the problem is being faced that how to check that,  Director who are already having DIN had furnished PAN at the time of applying for DIN or not?
You may just enter the DIN of such Director in blank E-Form No. 1A in entry no. 14 , if the PAN of such Director is reflecting in colum for PAN then same had been mentioned at the time of applying DIN , otherwise you need to file DIN-4 with MCA for informing the PAN of such Director to MCA within the above mentioned time.
Note: It is not necessary that PAN reflecting in Form No. 1A/furnished at the time of applying DIN is correct, therefore please verify the same through the following link :

One of directors is very big, as I dont have the DIN approval letter Iam not able to write the middle name, surname etc.. so please guide me how to verify the status in the links you have mentioned.

Pl fill in Form 1A with the individual DIN no at Col. 14 , u will get the details .

 

this persons PAN No. is AJIPM0064H and his PAN is linked to DIN so , for this purpose u need not file DIN4.

Download Form 1A and try to pre fill the DIN No in page 3 of the form.

You will get all the dettails of the Director and also the PAN no of the Director if updated by MCA earlier.

If  PAN No is already  updated  then is it necessary to update PAN once again.

As per MCA circular all the existing DIN holders have to update PAN No.

Refer to the DIN 1 Form that was filed at the time of applying for Director's DIN. If you dont have a copy of this in your records, you can go to the MCA website and download it (go to Quick Links on MCA website - Director Identification Number - Get DIN Application). If the DIN 1 Application has the Director's PAN on it, you don't have to file DIN - 4.

 

If you find that DIN 1 does not have the Director's PAN details, then you need to file DIN -4. Check the Director's Father's name as given on PAN. If Father's name on PAN is correct (as in no spelling mistakes etc even if not full name along with middle name, last name etc), select Father's Name for correction on DIN -4 and fill in the details as given on PAN. Otherwise, you will have to get the name corrected on PAN first.

Dear Member,

As per your query, you should check/match Name by file DIN number in Form 32 and  the show whats Father's name is display. After display name match name with PAN Card.

This is the best way to match the name with PAN Card. Both Director and Director's Father and also match Birth date with PAN Card.

Earlier also i have mentioned in the forum that pan has been taken more than 5 years or 10 years or 15 years or 20 years

 

It is very difficult to match din and pan

 

As far as my view there are 2,00,000 din will be disabled after 30th September, 2011 if MCA will not take corrective steps.

 

What is the harm that all exisiting directors has to update their pan through din 4 .  The onerous responsibility will lie with director concerned. If he has given wrong pan, he will be prosecuted.

 

At the time of introduction of DIn, there will be column will be there just you have to type your pan no. There is no matching system.

 

Let MCA will resolve the same otherwise, there will be drastic disable of DIN to directors.
