iepf 2 MARKED DEFECTIVE

Dear Members,

While filing the details in IEPF 2 excel sheet , it does not provide an option for filing the no . of underlying shares . It  was also not provided in the previous forms but they were approved but this time, it shows error and given message that IEPF-2 eForm submitted on the MCA portal vide SRN R72466709 dated 26/11/2020 has been

marked defective. 

The reason is MISMATCH IN NUMBER OF UNDERLYING SHARES.

What should we do now?

Pl upload two separate files one for Unclaimed Dividend and one for Unclaimed Shares. then it will be approved.

I am also getting same error. Already uploaded 5 times, but same mail is coming next day as marked defective. Someone suggested to add all unpaid dividend once then in same file underlying share again with same folios. But no benefit. Can you please explain how to upload two excel file for same challan.

Yes.I was not able to upload 2 excel under the same form.we are not allowed to upload second excel for underlying shares. Can we add all details in one excel sheet and upload it?

Will it serve purpose?

I have already tried 3 times by adding in one excel file. But next day morning I am getting same mail as defective. May be any one who already filed, can guide. Another person suggested keep uploading, one day it will be approved. But how long? Within the expiry of challan only possible. I have already filed the form twice as challan expired. Even raised tickets twice but no response.

Should we need to upload  two seprate excel sheet . I mean yo say upland two excel sheet after entering users ID and password given in iepf 2 challan? Kindly reply

Dear Sir,

I  uploaded two separate excel sheets  but still they marked it defective for mismatch in sum of matured deposit whereas the amt is same in excel sheet and form.

So now file only the file having mature deposit details and see. if it does not get approved then upload both the files everyday in our case also it got approved after filing 3rd time.

Gajendra Sir,

Yesterday I uploaded the same file which was marked defective yesterday and today received a message that the Form is approved . Also check status that it is approved .  it is very difficult to understand MCA.

Even I don't understand how this IEPF is functioning these days. We also did the same thing and, eventually form got approved, on uploading the same file. that's why I suggested to follow this method.
