Two Main Objects!!!

Good Noon friends,

Can a Private and Public Company have two main objects simultaneously. A Private company is dealing in the business of pesticides and chemicals and also want to start business of Real estate.

Please suggest with reference to new Companies Act, 2013.

yes a private company dealing in one business can commence other business as well.. there is no restriction on this neither as per         CA, 1956 nor CA, 2013..

Is the same is applicable for a public company also?? whether we have to add other main object in the main object clause of MOA??? i think no need to it.

Yes, The same is applicable to public limited also.. you have to add other main object i.e the business proposed to be started in the main object clause of MOA after conducting BM, EGM and finally filing of form 23 with Notice, Exp Statement and altered MOA  as per New Companies Act, 2013 .....
