Profile updation from Registered user to Business user

Hai

I am trying to upgrade from Registered user to Business user in the profile update, which is not happening.   The system takes the information for Add role and when i validate Pan and press save button, i get a message that profile has been updated,  but when i re-login it shows as registered user only.   

Any suggestions?
