Mr. A                1-50000                                   Share Certificate No. 1
Mr. B              51, 001- 125000                        Share Certificate No. 2
Mr. C              125001-300000                        Share Certificate No. 3

Now Mr. C transferred all his shares among Mr. A 50, 000 shares, Mr. D 100000 shares, Mr. E 10000 shares and Mr. F 10000 shares and the balance 5000 share retained by Mr. C. What will the distinctive nos. in this case of shares to be transferred to Mr. A, D, E and F and how to distribute the share certificate and what will be the certificate nos. to be issued.

the existing share certificate bearing distinctive no 125001-300000 will be cancelled

and new share certificate bearing distinctive no starting from 300001 onwards will be issued having new share certificate no and new folio no to new shareholders.

correct me if i am wrong please....

Split the share certificate according to your requirement, pass a Board resolution and transfer the split certificate to the transferees.

1. Cancelled the original one

2. issue new share certificate with new Certificate Nos. and after bifurcation of old distinctive Nos.

for ex. if you have received a request for splitting of share certificate bearing No. 0001 to 1000 ..in 3 share certificates for 200, 300 and 500 equity shares . Distinctive Nos. will be

0001 to 0200

0201 to 0500

0501 to 1000

Dear Mohit,

I have created an Excel template to figure out the transfers when I was working as a trainee under PCS. Hope that might be useful for you also.

This excel contains all the basic requirements.

While using it if you have any issues, please let me know....
