Mentioning of Membership No.and Address in certified true copy

Dear All,

i have come across a situation where i am being asked to write my address and membership no. in the certified true copy of resolution of the company. the consultant is also asking to mention the directors address where director is certifying the resolution.

section 158 tell about mentioning of DIN of the director,but not address. 

i am just curious if any section in the companies act mentions to provide address and membership details or infact tells about penalty if not done.

Got it guys , see Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014, section 7 5th proviso. it mentions as below ;

"Provided also that any correspondences (physically or electronically) and documents to be filed by any person shall contain name, designation, address, membership number or Director Identification Number, as the case may be, of the person signing such document and make sure correctness thereof and in no case, correspondence, merely with signature and writing authorised signatory shall be acceptable"
