Revision of Minimum Wages W.E.F. 01st April 2026

Haryana Government has revised the minimum wages w.e.f. April 2026.

Key Points:

• Wages apply to all establishments, factories, employees, workers, and contract labour under the Code on Wages, 2019.

•  Wages cannot be split into allowances — they must be paid as a whole.

• No gender pay difference — equal wages for men and women.

• Trainees are paid 75% of the applicable category wage, but never less than the unskilled rate; training period capped at one year.

• Per-day wages are calculated by dividing monthly wages by 26 days; deductions use 30 days.

• Principal employers are responsible for ensuring contractors also pay minimum wages.
